Wellness Wednesday: How Culture Supports Strengths + Resiliency

The DC Department of Health (DOH) invites residents to participate in Wellness Wednesdays, an online parent support group that helps parents take care of themselves and foster resiliency for their children in these challenging times.

During Wellness Wednesday sessions, parents can share experiences and ask questions of clinicians who work in public schools and child development centers. A new topic will be discussed each Wednesday.

Wellness Wednesday is offered in English and Spanish. All District parents, caregivers, teachers, or involved community members who support children are welcome to join.

On Wednesday, March 17, the Wellness Wednesday discussion topic is “How Culture Supports Strengths + Resiliency.”

To join, please click here for English (password: WW20) and aquí para Español (contraseña: SPWW20). Parents can join by computer, tablet, or smartphone.

Parents can also call in to the session by dialing 1-650-479-3208 (toll-free) or 1-202-860-2110 (local), using this Access Code: 172 620 4243.
